It will be the FIG Council that makes the final decision regarding whether the Norwegian Gymnastics Federation will be awarded the responsibilty to organize the event in 2017. But by signing the contract, it was made clear that all the formalities has been taken care of. According to the information given in the meeting, Norway seems to be the only federation that has applied for this event.
